Aberfeldy Community First Responders Group is entirely voluntary.
If you think you have what it takes to become a Community First Responder please get in touch for more information.
Intensive training provided by the Scottish Ambulance Service is compulsory and you will be required to fulfil a certain number of on call hours per month. Additionally you will be required to attend monthly training sessions held in Aberfeldy.
The Scottish Ambulance Service determines the maximum number of volunteers required for each locality and they will inform us if/ when we can expand the team.
Becoming an active Community First Responder is not for everyone but there are plenty of other ways you can support us.
As a relatively new group, establishing our presence in the community is very important so you can support us by chatting to your friends & family about us and what we do. We want people to know that we might arrive first when they call for an ambulance.
We are a registered charity and we are continually fundraising so if you think you have a great idea, can support one of our fundraisers or even make a donation, we would love to hear from you.
